Guidewire sign up for new Headquarters in Stemple Exchange

  • Largest letting for the northern Dublin suburbs in over 10 years
  • Office to accommodate almost 500 employees

Software company Guidewire has signed a lease on 1 Stemple Exchange in Blanchardstown Corporate Park, which is under construction and close to completion. The deal, brokered by Lisney, represents the largest office letting in the north suburbs in over 10 years at 7,912 square metres (85,164 square foot).

The new HQ will accommodate almost 500 Guidewire employees when construction finishes later this year.

Paul Hipwell, Divisional Director of Office Agency with Lisney, says:

“Although not yet completed, Guidewire were very clear about committing to Blanchardstown Corporate Park. The buildings are of an extremely high quality with LEED Gold and are akin to new docklands buildings. Much of Blanchardstown Corporate Park’s recent success can be attributed to the developer – The Channor Group – and their simple formula of providing a highly desirable staff lifestyle that corporate tenants now recognise as essential in attracting talent in a competitive labour market.”

The Channor Group has implemented a hugely successful new social and business programme which includes food markets, weekly yoga classes, bootcamps and regular business briefings.

Darren Harrison, The Channor Group, says:

“The collective offering has been a phenomenal success and is very appealing when coupled with the relatively un-tapped and affordable talent pool off the adjacent N2 and N3 routes.”

The surge in interest for Blanchardstown Corporate Park has also seen Sisk, Sensori Facilities Management, Vision Blue Solutions, Emerson, and BHP Insurance all committing to the park in the last 6 months, with several other significant new deals agreed.

Lisney represented The Channor Group in the Guidewire negotiations, which began over a year ago, while Rita Carney of JLL acted for Guidewire.  Lisney is the sole letting agent for Blanchardstown Corporate Park and is now turning its focus to 2 Stemple Exchange, where construction has already commenced.
