Core recognised as the only Irish agency ranked in the Global Effie Index’s Top 50 Most Effective Agencies for 2025

  • Global Effie Index is the global benchmark for marketing effectiveness and recognises agencies that consistently deliver measurable business results for clients

  • Core recognised for range of impactful campaigns delivered for leading brands including Sky, An Post, Allianz, HSE, Fáilte Ireland and Just Eat

Core, Ireland’s largest marketing communications company, has been recognised as the only Irish agency ranked in the Global Effie Index’s Top 50 Most Effective Agencies for 2025 – making it the most effective agency in Ireland. This latest recognition also marks the fifth consecutive year Core has been ranked as Ireland’s most effective agency.

Announced annually, the Global Effie Index is the most comprehensive global ranking of marketing effectiveness, recognising agencies that consistently deliver measurable business results for clients.

Core also secured a place among Europe’s Top 20 Most Effective Agencies, making the company the only Irish agency to feature in either the global or European Top 100 rankings. For Core, the recognition at Global and European level marks the latest milestone in a long-term commitment to embedding effectiveness across every aspect of the agency.

Core’s inclusion in the Global Effie Index follows a strong 2025 awards performance, earning 14 Effie awards and nominations for campaigns delivered for leading brands including Sky, An Post, Allianz, National Broadband Ireland (NBI), HSE, Fáilte Ireland and Just Eat. The Global Effie Index ranks agencies based on points awarded for Effie finalists and winners across competitions worldwide.

Since the Effie Awards were introduced in Ireland four years ago, Core has won 31 Effies, making the business the country’s most consistently recognised agency for marketing effectiveness.

Rather than viewing effectiveness as something measured only after a campaign is delivered, Core has spent recent years building a culture where effectiveness shapes every stage of the process -from strategy and research to creativity, media, social, sponsorship, data and measurement. This integrated, end-to-end approach brings together the agency’s full range of capabilities to help clients solve business challenges and deliver measurable results.

The result is a model that reflects Core’s belief that effectiveness is not achieved through media or creativity in isolation, but by combining strategic thinking, creative excellence and evidence-based decision-making around a single commercial objective.

Core has won more Effies for creative effectiveness than any standalone creative agency in Ireland, highlighting the agency’s focus on creating work that is both ambitious and commercially effective.

Commenting on the achievement, Andy Pierce, joint Head of Strategy at Core, said: “This recognition is particularly meaningful because it reflects something much bigger than a ranking. It reflects a culture we’ve worked hard to build across the entire agency. Effective marketing doesn’t happen by accident. It comes from constantly challenging ourselves to think more strategically, develop bolder ideas and rigorously measure what delivers real business impact.

At Core, effectiveness isn’t something we evaluate at the end of a campaign, it’s built into every stage of the process. We place enormous emphasis on designing for the best possible outcomes, combining strategy, creativity, media and data to help our clients achieve meaningful commercial results. We’re incredibly proud to see that approach recognised on a global stage.”

Caitriona Ní Laoire, Managing Director of Core Creative, added: “For us, effectiveness has never been separate from creativity, it’s what gives creativity its focus. The best ideas are those that capture attention, create lasting memories and, ultimately, help our clients grow. That’s why it’s especially rewarding that so many of the campaigns recognised have come from creative and fully integrated client partnerships.

While Core is best known as Ireland’s largest independent media agency, the business believes the strongest commercial outcomes come from integrated thinking. By bringing together expertise across strategy, media, creative, social, sponsorship, data and research, Core delivers connected solutions that enable clients to achieve stronger business results than any single discipline could deliver alone.”
